The Africa Digital Health Summit (ADHS) organizing committee welcomes proposals for dynamic and insightful sessions for the upcoming annual summit scheduled to take place on Thursday 26th and Friday 27th June, 2025 at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
The theme for this year's summit is "Strengthening Health Systems through Digital Innovation, Data, and AI”
We encourage individuals, organizations, and institutions to propose sessions that resonate with the theme and align with the summit's tracks, focusing on methodologies and strategies that enhance healthcare access, delivery, and outcomes in Africa.
We are particularly interested in proposals that address the ADHS 2025 tracks:
Tracks:
- Digital Innovations for Community Health Workers and Primary Health Care: This track will discuss how digital tools and platforms enhance the efficiency and impact of community health workers and strengthen primary health care systems, improving access, equity and health outcomes.
- One Health Approach to Public Health Surveillance and Emergency Preparedness: Explore the role of digital technologies in tracking diseases, predicting outbreaks, and strengthening emergency preparedness and response systems with the One Health Framework
- National Leadership and Strategic Partnerships for Driving Digital Health Transformation: This track highlights the role of leadership and partnerships efforts between governments, private sector players, implementing partners, and development partners in advancing digital health.
- Health Data Interoperability, and Standards: Discuss best practices for implementing EMRs, achieving data interoperability, and adopting standards to ensure seamless health information exchange.
- Integrating Climate Data and Digital Health for Resilient Health Systems: Examine how integrating climate data with digital health can address climate-sensitive diseases and build health systems resilient to climate impacts.
- Innovative Approaches to Health Workforce Modelling and Optimization: This track explores data-driven tools and strategies for planning, allocation, and optimization of the health workforce to enhance healthcare delivery.
- Startups and Innovations in Digital Health: Highlight the role of startups in driving healthcare innovation, discussing scaling strategies, funding models, and their impact on health systems.
There are 2 options for the session format:
- Panel Discussion format (Maximum of 5 including Panellists and moderator. At least one of the panellists/moderator must be female) Allocated time: 60 mins including Q&A
- Workshop format (Maximum of 3 facilitators) Allocated time: 60 mins including Q&A
The submission should include a session title, a summary of the proposed session, learning objectives, a list of potential speakers, and a brief bio for each speaker. We encourage proposals to be submitted by 28th February, 2025 using the link here: https://dokilink.com/adhs-2025-session-proposals
